Summary of Position:
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system.
Position Responsibilities:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
- Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Maintains conference center bookings. Checks guest in and out and collects monies owed for lodging and meeting room rentals
- Issues parking tickets
Position Requirements:
- Entry level position.
- On the job training provided.
- Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday with flexible schedule during the week, including some evenings.
- Attention to detail.
- Diligent and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills.
Expected Salary:
- $14 hourly

Building Engineer

Position Summary:
Maintains existing equipment required to keep the ICA-USA headquarters building operating efficiently and effectively.
Position Responsibilities:
- Regulates HVAC + building automation system.
- Troubleshoots and maintains electrical and plumbing components.
- Performs preventative maintenance work, such as changing the filters in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems or replacing seals in plumbing systems.
- Repaints apartments or office spaces in preparation for new clients, or resurface flooring both private and common areas of the building.
- Conducts space inspections to determine needed repairs or actions required to prevent problems.
- Performs minor and major repair of all building elements and equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers.)
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts.
- Cleans and inspects boiler; treats water with proper chemicals.
- Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds.
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Operates a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.
- Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical circuits, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed.
- Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment.
- Repairs electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security.
- Installs computer cable.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures.
- Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required.
- Obtains estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Entry level position.
- Experience in the trades or a vocational training program preferred.
- On the job training provided.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
- Attention to detail.
- Diligent and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills.
